The new year began with a visit to Bridgewater, a township in Somerset County over the weekend. We visited one of my husband's offices there, for a while and then went to Bridgewater Commons, which is the shopping mall. Had delicious Chipotle lunch and enjoyed the evening shopping. And came back home late due to sudden snow-shower that day.

And I have also seen an endless number of movies since the year began. Movies like Wuthering Heights, Curious case of Benjamin button, Anna and the King, The man in the Iron Mask - it was a complete re-run of old movies. And some awe-inspiring documentaries too, like Hiroshima: BBC World history of World war II, the famous 'March of the Penguins', a beautiful and heart-warming documentary about the life of empire Penguins who live in the harsh climate of Antarctica and 'Encounters at the end of the World', about the people and scientists living in Antarctica and the continent itself.
Another movie, 'No one killed Jessica' stole the show, this weekend. A brilliant movie, by any standards; as it again brings out to show the power of public opinion. The movie is about the 1999 Jessica Lall murder case and how the public opinion helped in putting the culprit behind the bars. A must watch.
By far, this year, started on a fabulous note and will be a happy one for sure. And it will also, be full of movies, as the first week itself tells the story.
Cheers to a new year !!
