Razzie Awards: Call for the Worst

Razzie Awards, also called Golden Raspberry Awards; calls for the worst performances of the year; just the opposite of regular award ceremonies. Well, even the worst deserves some recognition.

It was founded in 1981, by John J.B. Wilson and since then, the award ceremony happens a day before the Academy Awards. So, on one side you get to see the nomination for the Oscars and on the other for the Razzie. The awards have become pretty famous now and this year, the nominations are absolutely appropriate.

The worst Picture category has - 'The Bounty Hunter', so right, as there could be no one who wouldn't have dozed off in the middle of the movie just like me; 'Sex and the City 2', another crappy flick about fashion and clothes, thats it; 'The Last Airbender', no idea about this one; 'Vampires Suck', another movie, which in the first place didn't even have to be made; 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse', I still wonder how this series became so famous, theres not even a single reason.

Worst Actor - Jack Black for 'Gulliver's Travels', almost anyone else could have done the role better; Gerard Butler for ' The Bounty Hunter', I think he was a part of the movie, just because of his weird way of speaking; Ashton Kutcher for 'Killers' and 'Valentine's Day', seriously, I don't want to comment on anything regarding this; 'Taylor Lautner' for 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' and 'Valentine's Day', he is still banking on his success of the Twilight series; Robert Pattinson for 'Remember Me' and 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse', am still wondering how and why everything related to this series became so famous.

Worst Actress - Jennifer Aniston for  'The Bounty Hunter' and 'The Switch', the first one was done just for the sake of getting over with it; 'Miley Cyrus' for 'The Last Song', well everyone needs to understand that end of the day she's a singer; Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cartell, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon for 'Sex and the City 2', as I mentioned earlier also, this movie was made only to show the designers collection in a different way rather than doing a fashion show on a ramp; Megan Fox for 'Jonah Hex', don't even know when this came; Kristen Stewart for 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse', am tired of saying the same thing, now people need to understand it on their own.

And the honors will be done on February 26th, 2011. Well, the judges will definitely have a hard time deciding the worst of all.

A big Applause for everyone who did their jobs well, well enough to deserve a Razzie.
